Job Rotation in HRM
It
is a systematic movement as employees are routinely moved from one position to
another within an organization to achieve a broad range of human resources
goals, including orienting new hires, training staff, fostering career
development, and preventing job boredom or burnout

The exact Practice of Job Rotation
Job
rotation is the practice of shifting all processing area between various
positions to make sure they experience various company departments while
learning and developing their skill sets. Job rotation is another method for
breaking up difficult work and it encourages employee flexibility, reduces
turnover, and boosts job satisfaction.
Job
rotation improves staff flexibility, reduces workplace defections, and helps
employees in manual labor roles feel less stressed. An environment with
changing assigned tasks can cultivate fresh perspectives and ideas on the work
becoming done by the company and may enhance employee happiness

It's beneficial to introduce a job rotation program in an organization if it's workable and effective for employees should be successful to avoid
waste of time as well as for weak efforts if it doesn't work as it is.
The organization may be negatively impacted cause of job
rotation, which is a most serious impact on Employees as they might make errors
as they pick up new tasks. Employees who make mistakes due to confusion may
frustrate customers. Furthermore, this affects the bottom-line operations which
will not be able to perform as scheduled.
Job rotation can help reduce slow-moving operations, staff, and
customers.

Shifts that are scheduled to change over time are considered
rotating shifts. A of customer service representative who works six weeks of
day shifts and then six weeks of night shifts might work as an illustration.
Another example would be a first responder working from 7 AM to 3 PM one day, 3
PM to 11 PM the next day, and 11 PM to 7 AM the following day
When placing job rotation practices into
practice, it’s better to keep the following important factors to consider:

and a clear goal.

Before rotation, get
employees ready and provide training sessions for individuals.

Plan and record the
procedures.

Organize a job
rotation program during a slow period.

Job rotation needs to
be implemented in employees' career paths.
Conclusion
Job rotation can improve employee ability to follow, lessen
boredom, foster employee innovation, help employees discover new ideas, interests
and skills and knowledge, and ease the physical strain.
Job rotation is a systematic switching process of employees between jobs within an organization, and it provides human resources benefits, including recruiting and selecting new hires, training staff, cultivating career development, and preventing work stress.

Hi Niluka, I find this blog very informative. I do agree with the points mentioned above as I have been worked under many roles in my work place. Most of the employees do not like job rotation system and it creates an environment where employees are not happy with the job what they do
